Pi-Star Hotspots MMDVM
In addition to the complexity of configuring one of these - the instructions leave out some important information.
On the top of the list is - configuring the hotspot to use wi-fi.
1. When configuring the hotspot wi-fi you might have to SEARCH several times for the hotspot to show up on the list of candidates to connect to.
2. After you select the Wi-Fi and add the password your option is to save and connect. Although nothing will show up on the Wi-Fi status screen
3. DO NOT power cycle the hotspot hoping to get a connection to the Wi-Fi on bootup. Rather - select 'Power' from the ribbon menu and select 'reboot'
4, You may need to force-feed the Wi-Fi information into the hotspot using a file builder and instructions at Pi-Star WiFi Builder - pistar.uk

6. Good idea to go into Brandmiester.network / self-care / my devices - and add static talk groups while adding hot-spot security. (password)
