The American Birkebeiner (Birkie) is a nearly 35-mile cross-country ski marathon that traverses its way through the north woods of Wisconsin on the Birkie Trail.

This is an excellent low stress event to volunteer for your first or 101st time. And they’re still looking for volunteers for one or both event days.  It takes place around Hayward, Wisconsin. Please let Wally know if you’re interested, and if you’d like additional information.
